Terms of Service
Last updated : July 6, 2026
These terms govern your use of the Seenr app. By creating an account or using Seenr, you agree to these terms.
1. The service
Seenr is a TV show and movie tracking service: it lets you mark what you watch, rate, comment, keep lists and follow other members' activity.
2. Your account
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity carried out from your account.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- post illegal, hateful, harassing, defamatory content or content that infringes the rights of others;
- impersonate anyone or mislead other members;
- attempt to disrupt, circumvent or compromise the security of the service;
- automatically collect or scrape other members' data.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of the content you post (reviews, comments, lists). You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host and display it as part of the service. You are responsible for the content you post. We may remove content that breaches these terms or the law.
5. Intellectual property
The Seenr app, its brand, design and code are protected and remain the property of ByUs. These terms grant you no rights over these elements beyond normal use of the service.
6. TMDB data
Movie and TV metadata (titles, posters, cast…) comes from TMDB. This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.
7. Availability and warranties
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of being uninterrupted or error-free. We strive to keep it running but cannot guarantee it.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, ByUs shall not be liable for indirect damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the service.
9. Termination
You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time from the app. We may suspend or terminate an account in case of breach of these terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. In case of dispute, an amicable resolution will be sought first; failing that, the competent courts will be those determined by applicable law.
11. Changes
We may amend these terms. In case of a significant change, we will inform you in the app. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
